National Contracting's largest live road contract — a near-billion-dirham scheme awarded by the Presidential Court (Diwan) to design and build the new road linking Dibba Al-Hisn City with the Emirate of Sharjah, together with the extension of Federal Road E-87 from the Cement Factory Roundabout to the E-99 at Al-Raheeb. Spanning Sharjah and Fujairah, the 36-month project integrates bridges, underpasses and a complete underground utility backbone engineered to traverse challenging mountainous terrain, delivered to premium civil-engineering standards.
Scope of works
- Design and construction of a new road linking Dibba Al-Hisn City with the Emirate of Sharjah.
- Extension of Federal Road E-87 from the Cement Factory Roundabout to the E-99 at Al-Raheeb.
- Bridges, underpasses and a complete underground utility backbone through mountainous terrain.
- Footpaths, parking, sign boards and road-marking works.
