NCTC was awarded a Project Sharjah International Airport New Runway at 250m Separation Civil Works

The scope of work was comprised of drainage works, earthworks, pavement marking, surface protection to the runway strip, communication network installation and construction of Two Sub-Station buildings. Main and Standby power systems includes internal 11kv power distribution equipment, power factor correction equipment, standby generators, bulk fuel storage and distribution systems, uninterruptible power system, LV power distribution equipment, system earthing and lighting protection installations. By October of 2014, the runway was opened for Public use. Private Plane of His Highness Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Sharjah Ruler, was the first who take off and landed.
