National Contracting (NCTC) has been awarded Contract 301-501 by the Government of Sharjah, Directorate of Public Works, for the construction of foul drainage networks in areas close to the sea at Kalba City. The scope of works includes approximately 72,920m of gravity main trunk sewer lines using GRP and UPVC pipes ranging from 160mm to 1200mm in diameter, along with around 10,000m of GRP rising main connecting the proposed lifting stations P-A and P-B to the existing and proposed sewage treatment plants. The project also covers the construction of lifting stations P-A and P-B, around 671 manholes (1200mm to 2500mm in diameter), approximately 1,800 inspection chambers, and the reinstatement of roads and parking areas.
