National Contracting (NCTC) has been awarded Project R 1000D, the Sharjah to Khorfakkan New Road, by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA). The scope covers the construction of a new dual road from Al Wishah towards Difta, running from Ch. 36+000 to Ch. 47+000. Works include future crossing ducts, earthworks, cut and fill, crossing culverts, and a street lighting network.
