NCTC Awarded Project Contract R 1029/1 – Development of Latifa Bint Hamdan Street (Contract 1) by Roads & Transport Authority, Dubai

National Contracting (NCTC) has been awarded Contract R 1029/1 by the Roads & Transport Authority – Dubai for the Development of Latifa Bint Hamdan Street (Contract 1), the first contract of a larger road corridor running east-west between Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road. The scope covers upgrading an approximately 3km segment of Latifa Bint Hamdan Street in the Al Quoz Area, from the intersection of First Al Khail Street to the interchange of Al Khail Road with Latifa Bint Hamdan Street. Works include converting the signalized junction with Al Asayel Street into a single-point urban interchange with first- and second-level bridges, maintaining the existing cloverleaf interchange at Al Khail Road while adding a left-turn ramp, and providing street lighting, utility crossing ducts, and the relocation or protection of affected services. The contract also includes the study, design, and construction of three pedestrian bridges.
