NCTC Awarded Project Cont. R 978/3A – Development of Cycle and Jogging Tracks at Various Locations in Dubai (Mirdif, Mushrif, Al Khawaneej & Al Mizhar) by RTA Dubai

National Contracting (NCTC) has been awarded Contract R 978/3A by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) - Dubai for the development of cycle and jogging tracks at various locations across Dubai, with the study area covering Mushrif Park, Mirdif, Al Khawaneej and Al Mizhar. The scope of work integrates the cycle track with the roadway system to create conditions conducive for cyclists and to improve the attractiveness of the cycle paths and jogging tracks through enhanced open space design. The phased project includes irrigation ducts and systems, soft landscape works, and hard landscape treatments such as pedestrian pavements, the cycle track, street furnishings, and edging between planting areas. The cycle track works are proposed along one side of the carriageway within the right of way, to the extent of the contract limits.
