Al Azra Area Roads & Infrastructure

National Contracting delivered a comprehensive road infrastructure programme for the Al Azra area in Sharjah, constructing approximately 20 kilometres of single-carriageway roads complete with parking bays and footpaths. Executed under the supervision of consultants CH2M Hill – Halcrow for the Directorate of Public Works, the 42-month scheme integrated full surface-water drainage, sewerage, irrigation, and utility networks to serve the developing community. The project reflects NCTC's capability to coordinate complex multi-utility civil works to the exacting standards expected of a premier UAE contractor.
Scope of works
- Construction of approximately 20 km of single-carriageway roads with parking bays and footpaths
- Surface-water drainage including lift station and rising main
- Sewerage and foul drainage networks
- Irrigation networks
- Electricity, water, and telephone service connections
- Street lighting and gas service installations
