National Contracting delivered a comprehensive road network across the Al Barsha South 1 and 2 communities (671 and 672) for RTA Dubai, constructing approximately 59.3 km of collector and access roads. The works integrated site clearing, drainage and ducting, a major DEWA power line diversion, and a signalized intersection along the Secondary Arterial Road. Completed over 18 months, the project also delivered full street lighting, traffic signals, roadway signage, and pavement marking to a premium civil-engineering standard.
Scope of works
- Construction of approximately 59.3 km of collector and access roads across Communities 671 and 672
- Site clearing, tree removal, ducting and drainage works
- Diversion of an existing DEWA power line
- One signalized intersection on the Secondary Arterial Road plus minor intersections and roundabouts
- Roadway signage (overhead and ground-mounted) and pavement marking
- Street lighting, traffic signals, and minor storm water drainage system
