Construction of Internal Roads in Al Jurf, Ajman – Phase 1

National Contracting delivered approximately 26.788 kilometres of new internal roads across four distinct areas within Al Jurf, Ajman, executing comprehensive earthworks, road construction, and paving to the standards of the Ministry of Public Works. The scope demanded close coordination with the Emirate's principal utility authorities, integrating the protection and relocation of water, power, and telecommunications infrastructure within an active urban corridor. Storm water drainage systems and road lighting completed a fully serviced road network delivered over a 14-month programme.
Scope of works
- Construction of approximately 26.788 km of new internal roads across four areas, including earthworks, road construction, and paving
- FEWA water services: protective concrete slabs over existing pipes, PVC service ducts, and relocation of water lines
- FEWA electricity works: protection of power cables with reinforced concrete slabs and provision of UPVC service ducts
- Etisalat telecommunications: careful excavation and relocation of existing cable ducts with reconnection to new trenches
- Installation of storm water drainage systems throughout the road network
- Supply and installation of road lighting
