National Contracting delivered a comprehensive package of road and infrastructure improvement works for the Ministry of Public Works across the Emirate of Fujairah. The scope brought together the dualization of Airport Road, the extension of Al Hayl Road, and the construction of a dumbbell interchange, each integrating new carriageways, street lighting, and drainage systems. Executed over fourteen months, the project enhanced regional connectivity and traffic capacity while raising the standard of the emirate's strategic road network.
Scope of works
- Dualization of Airport Road including dual carriageway, street lighting, trapezoidal ditch land drainage, box culvert, and service crossings
- Extension of Al Hayl Road comprising carriageway, street lighting, trapezoidal ditch drainage, box culvert, and service crossings
- Construction of a dumbbell interchange with interchange bridge, slip roads, and carriageway
- Installation of street lighting systems across all road sections
- Land drainage and trapezoidal ditch works for stormwater management
- Box culverts and utility service crossings along the road network
